Dugnay urged on his tired horse and found the doctor who rode with all possible despatch to Lulu not arriving however until two days and one night after the accident had occurred Tlie arm aud hand completely demolishing the caboose and three cars of the first section the engine of the second section left the track and now lies partly on the track and down a fill about twelve feet deep The cause of the accident was the bursting of the hoe connecting the brakes The engineer and fireman saved themselves by jumping as did the train men of the first section The Tour Camp Robert Lincoln August 16
