Danny was born in Martinez, to Henry and Audery (DeHerrera) Apodaca on March 18, 1959. He moved to Fort Collins as a child and graduAPODACA ated from Fort Collins High School. He was a loving person. He loved to fish. Danny is survived by one son, Daniel and his wife, Tina Apodaca, and their children, Mark, Stephanie, Tannia and Brianna, all of Fort Collins; two brothers, Henry Apodaca, of Walsenburg, and Frankie (Gloria) Apodaca, of Denver, four sisters, Romana Apodaca, of Fort Collins, Lucille (Rocky) Roybal, of Limon, Bernice Grimes, of Denver, and Cecelia (Rob) Bowie, of Cheyenne, Wyo; and his ex-wife, Becky.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. today at Allnutt Drake Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, also at Allnutt Drake Chapel.

Margerite Ruth Griffith Ehmann Margerite Ruth Griffith Ehmann, 97, passed away at a Fort Collins nursing home on May 29, 2006. Margerite was born on Oct. 11, 1908, in Granada to John Wylie Griffith Sr.

and Mary Theresa Marker Griffith. She married Frederick Wilhelm Ehmann on June 27, 1970, in Fort Collins. He died on March 8, 1980. Margerite was a teacher for both elementary and college level. She taught in Oregon, Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, John Griffith Jr. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Grandview Cemetery. Pastor Mark Hanke officiating. Effie Leona Gear Effie Leona Gear, beloved mother, grandmother and great mother, passed away May 25, 2006.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1918, in Welder, Texas, and had been a resident of Fort Collins since 2000. In life and in death, she will be remembered for her love of sewing and gardening. She is survived by her daughters, Carol Davidson, of Fort Collins and Gail (Jim) McDonald, of Coushatta, La; grandchildren, Ellen (Leonard) Drummer, of Coushatta, and John (Janie) Meyers, of Fort Collins; great -grandchildren, Andrea Meyers and Rachel Meyers, of Fort Collins, Ashley Simpson and Lucas Drummer, of Coushatta, and Zachary Piatt, of Seguin, Texas. A memorial will be held in Waelder, Texas, at a later date.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Larimer County. Joseph C. Kloberdanz Joseph C. Kloberdanz, Collins, entered into the Lord on May 29, 2006. Joseph was born in Sterling on Oct.

31, 1924, a son of George and Christina (Wertz) Kloberdanz, both Germans-from-Rus- sia immigrants. He was raised on a farm in Sterling. Joseph 81, of Fort arms of his KLOBERDANZ served as a corporal in the Army during World War I and was stationed in Japan. married the love of his life, Lorraine D. Appelhans, on Nov.

12, 1947, in Sterling. Joseph was a dedicated husband of 55 years and father. He was a man of many talents and was an outstanding agent for National Western Life Insurance where he won many awards and honors. Joseph was known as an honest and fair man all of his life. His three sons and five grandchildren survive Joseph.

The oldest is Gary, an orthodontist practicing in Greeley, who has five children, David, Jonathan, Anna, Grace and Mary. Don lives in Fort Collins and owns and operates the Laurel Street Emporium. Jim lives in Dallas, Texas. He is the managing director of a nonprofit corporation, Nehemiah, which helps people find housing. Joseph is also survived by five sisters, Irene Bussey, of Greeley, Susan Monheiser, of Sterling, Christina Melchior, of Sterling, Opal Unrein, Sterling, and Millie Mildenberger, of Portland, Ore.

His beloved wife, Lorraine; a 5- month old son, Joseph Charles Jr; his parents; and four brothers and four sisters preceded Joseph in death. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Allnutt Drake Chapel, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. The Rev. Mozdyniewicz will officiate.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 300 W. Mountain Fort Collins. Interment will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Kornelis KORNELIS ginia Weatherson in Columbus. William was an electrical engineer for for 35 years, retiring in 1988. At that time, he relocated to Fort Collins, where he was an active member of Faith Evangelical Free Church. William a Sunday school teacher and elder. He coached Little League baseball and football.

He raised quarterhorses and was an accomplished woodworker and an avid reader. Bill was a base communications officer with the U.S. Army in Dutch, Guinea, during World War Il. He was discharged in December 1946 in Tampa, as captain. Bill was a godly example of an earthly husband, father, grandfather and brother.

William is survived by his children, Stephen Kornelis, of Waconia, Daniel Kornelis, of Pfafftown, N.C., Beth Hahn, of Fort Collins, Harriett Luper, of Billings, and Deborah Mikkelsen, of Rock Springs, one sister, Naida Aschenbrenner, of Waterloo, 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great grandchild. William was born Aug. 27, 1922, in Rapelje, to Sidney and Gertrude (VanDyke) Kornelis. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1940 and later received his bachelor's degree from Montana State University in 1944.

On Aug. 29,1943, William was united in KORNELIS marriage to Vir- Lorene Lind in Fort Collins, to (Greenwalt) Feit. Fort Collins and graduated from Fort Collins High School. She married H. F.

"Barry" Lind on Feb. 25, 1940, in Fort Collins. He passed away in 1999. Mrs. Lind died Tuesday at Golden Fred and Pauline She grew up in Lorene Lind (Nov.

4, 1920- May 30, 2006), 85, of Windsor, was born Peaks Health Care Center in Fort Collins. Mrs. Lind and her husband farmed rural Windsor for leader many years. She was also a 4-H and a member of the Fort Collins Country Club, where she was an avid golfer. She was also a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Windsor.

She enjoyed cooking and was an excellent seamstress. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Lind wife, Joyce, of rural Windsor, and Larry Lind and wife, Carol, of rural Windsor; daughter, Janice Lind and husband, Mel Queen, of Naples, Denver. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren and a brother, Roland Feit, of Fort Collins. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Family graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Howard Allen Tegtman Howard Allen Tegtman, longtime Fort Collins resident and high school educator, died Sunday, May 28, 2006, at Poudre Valley Hospital from heart disease. Howard was born on June 26, 1933, in Fort Lupton to Ernest and Fern Tegtman. He was raised in Prospect Valley. In 1951, he graduated from Prospect Valley High School as salutatorian of his class and subsequently joined the Navy during the Korean conflict. He was extremely proud to serve as honor man of his company.

Howard was assigned to the U.S. Naval Intelligence Office in the 11th Naval District Headquarters in San Diego, Calif. After completing three years of successful service in the Navy, he was honorably discharged on June 19, 1954. Howard re- TEGTMAN TEGTMAN turned to Colorado that year, entering Colorado State College of Education in Greeley. He majored in business education and minored in speech pathology.

At that time, he became affiliated with Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. After receiving his bachelor's degree in 1957, he continued with his graduate studies in business administration. When he received his master's degree in 1958, he returned to San Diego to teach in several high schools. He chose in 1961 to return to Colorado and accepted a teaching position as a business teacher at Fort Collins High School. Howard taught 29 years at the school, 18 of which he was chairman of the business department.

In 1972, Howard married teaching colleague Phyllis Jean Elliott, who survives him. Their two daughters, Jean Anne Tegtman, of Fort Collins, and Karyn Leigh Wanstreet and husband, Jack, of Johnstown, also survive him. Other survivors include brothers, Robert, of Prospect Valley, James and wife, Charlotte, of Keenesburg, and Franklin and wife, Joyce, of Peyton; and his sisters, Betty Jean Hillenbrand and husband, Harry, of Kremmling, and Joan Gustafson and husband, Donald, of Prospect Valley. Additional survivors include grandchildren Taylor Sarah Wanstreet and Cole Craig, Wanstreet, of Johnstown, and close friend Gregg Wailes, of Holyoke. Howard was an extremely dedicated teacher, a truly gifted gardener and a lover of all animals great and small.

He most certainly was a loving husband, father and grandfather, as well as a dear Howard also found in his other homes in Washington state, located in Greenbank on Whidbey Island. For 30 years, he spent a part of each summer in the Pacific Northwest. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, with interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Greeley. Memorial contributions may be made to Poudre School District Foundation or the Larimer County Humane Society in care of Bohlender Funeral Home.

Gary W. Zeiler Gary Wayne Collins, passed away at Poudre Valley He was born Greeley to Harold E. Zeiler and Dorothy Carlson Zeiler. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown. He attended college in Greeley and graduated from Colorado State Zeiler, 58, of Fort May 29, 2006, Hospital.

Jan. 13, 1948, in ZEILER University with a degree in history. He worked for HewlettPackard and most recently worked as a security guard. He was a very active member of Mountain Range Church in Fort Collins. He enjoyed reading, gardening, history and outdoor activities, including, hiking, hunting, and fishing.

He is survived by his son, Nathaniel Wayne Zeiler and wife, Tiffany, of La Pine, Ore; daughter, Hanna Allison Zeiler, of Albany, brother, Mark Zeiler and wife, Cathy, of Highlands Ranch; and sister, Lois Conklin and husband, David, of Springtown, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Dorothy Zeiler, and his brother, Thomas Zeiler. Cremation has been conducted. Memorial service at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Range Church.
