Linda was a. Fort Collins native, born October 5, 1959, to Charles and Dorothy Laidlaw. She graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1978 and went on to attend Fort Lewis College in Durango, for three years. Linda worked as a waitress for many years at Tico's, Red Lobster, and The Breakfast Club. She loved photography, poetry, and music.

Linda also enjoyed stamp collecting, traveling with friends, reading, and cooking. Her pets were a great joy to her. Linda is survived by her partner, Glenn Cooper of Fort Collins; parents; sisters, Kathy Laidlaw (David) Ross of Victor, Idaho, Susan Laidlaw (Dan) Jones of Fort Collins; seven nieces; and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Sarah Laidlaw and William and Leota Ashby. An open house for family and friends is scheduled for 2 to 5 p.m.
